The Story of the Tinkerpunks:
Far away and beyond, on their homeworld of Wim live the Tinkerpunks. The limited resources of their world spawned a creative culture built on recycling and renewing what was once broken (and having some fun with it along the way).
As the Tinkerpunks evolved, so did their technology and they eventually traveled beyond Wim, finding their way to Earth. They fell in love with our plentiful planet, but were disheartened by the humans’ tendency to waste. Emboldened by their desire to create meaningful change, the Tinkerpunks set up the very first embassy-of-sorts: a satellite workshop where they would remain to assist the humans and continue their research.
They have transformed this unused station, showcasing their unique style and inventions, and are eagerly welcoming visitors to discover the hidden potential in everything and everyone!
Dark Ride:
The highlight of Tinkerpunk Junktion is the interactive dark ride, Tinkerpunk Malfunction, where visitors are recruited as apprentices-in-training beside Sienna, a fiery inventor whose latest machine has collapsed right before her presentation.
Sienna, the inventor and your guide through Tinkerpunk Malfunction
Guests rebuild the device while competing, collaborating and causing mayhem alongside their fellow trainees. In this hands-on adventure visitors are sure to find inspiration, delight and a bit of chaos.
Restaurant:
Transportation Mayhem is an imaginative restaurant where pneumatic tubes deliver food directly to guests’ tables. The Culinary Tinkerpunks cook up both old and new favorites with added flair!
Adult visitors are invited to The Rusty Mabel, a chill lounge on the mezzanine level, where a robotic bartender Mabel serves up cocktails, and might just start dancing– if they request the right song.
Walk-Through Attraction:
Tinkeree is a interactive walk-through attraction where guests explore the Tinkerpunk’s everyday spaces. Guests operate switches, levers, hand pumps, and foot pedals to power an interconnected dishwashing machine. They can play in a gym built from luggage racks and train cars, and even take snapshots in the photo room that commemorate their visit.
Retail:
Guests who venture into the Tinker Workshop are invited to build their own Tinker Twister, the personal and customizable tool of the Tinkerpunks.
With this device they can discover hidden secrets and solve puzzles around the station, providing a more connected experience and a memorable, personal souvenir!
Our retail offerings are as unique as the Tinkerpunks themselves. The Tinker Bazaar is the best place for original gifts, merchandise, and other oddities. At Tinker Trinkets & Fashion Stop, guests can create a unique accessory or design their own Maker’s Mark that can be put on any clothing. Cog & Curio allows guests to celebrate their contributions in Tinkerpunk Malfunction with themed keepsakes and special photo ops!

Technical Considerations:
Our schematic phase was supported by the technical team, who took the concept and made it a reality from a mechanical engineering, audio/visual, and architectural standpoint. With detailed 3D renderings, elevations, master plans, and more, our schematic package contains 191 pages highlighting the accomplishments of our technical team.
Sustainability:
Beyond the core theme of Tinkerpunk Junktion, sustainability was a priority for our team. Whether it was case studies for managing waste and energy demand, or focusing on utilizing reused props in our set design, the power of our values for a sustainable experience can be felt throughout the design.
Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA):
Tinkerpunk Junktion is a place for all, no matter who our guests may be. From our very first brainstorm session, the team has placed IDEA as a main priority for our design. Utilizing IDEA-focused auditing tools and having sessions entirely focused on accessible design, we have ensured that as many people as possible can enjoy our experience.
Our characters were developed to represent the vibrant community of the surrounding area.
