Dineventure

At DineVenture, guests experience how food connects us all through time by taste-testing dishes of the past and future, playing themed minigames, and enjoying a four-course meal while protecting the Heartroot Tree in the interactive story of Bloom.

What is DineVenture?

Since the beginning of time, there has stood the Heartroot tree, which represents the connection of all living things. Era, the visionary botanist who discovered it, found that its roots grow through history itself, a symbol of one thing humans have always shared: food, and how it has connected us through time.

Guests are now invited to trace the roots through the past and future, with stops in Ancient Rome, in a Medieval Feast Tavern, on the Silk Road, at the Aztec Market, on the American Frontier, at the Caribbean Shore, and in the year 2999. Using RFID-enabled Flavor Passports, visitors can taste dishes eaten by these ancient cultures, watch captivating shows, play themed minigames for food-related prizes, and experiment with futuristic flavors and food technology. They can then gather around a table to eat, sharing funny stories and interesting facts they learned along the way.

Bloom: a Ride Restaurant

On the lower floor, guests can partake in Bloom, our separate ticketed dining experience. Seated at a table on a rotating platform, guests will travel through four beautifully themed rooms, partaking in the interactive story of the Heartroot Tree. While touring the lands of the Farm, Forest and Ocean, they can use their interactive tabletop to fend off the Gloam, a force of dark magic and disconnection, earning each dish of a four-course meal as a reward.

Return Visits

With seasonal overlays, special holiday scripts and menus that constantly expand and evolve, DineVenture invites guests to return for more adventures. Seasonal events like cultural holiday celebrations create opportunities to highlight new cuisines and traditions from the cultures we exhibit. There’s also flexibility to host corporate events, private parties, and educational experiences for a whole new layer of connection and fun.

Why DineVenture?

Sitting in what some might refer to as a “food desert,” our team found that Springfield, Virginia is hungry for standout dining experiences and imaginative restaurant concepts. DineVenture fills this gap in the market, appealing to growing interest in both the global immersive experience market and the global food service industry. It combines education and fiction in a playful blend, making it perfect for families and for younger generations who value unique dining for shareable, social-media-friendly moments.

Accessibility

At DineVenture, we strive to keep our experience accessible to all who attend. Our venue is thoughtfully designed with wheelchair access and wheelchair-friendly tables, non-slip flooring, accessible restrooms, braille and raised signage for those with visual impairments, and controlled environments to prevent sensory overload. We also offer discounted admission prices to those with impairments, and complimentary admission to caregivers of those with impairments.

Sustainability

With plenty of farms in the area for local outreach and sustainable food sourcing, DineVenture will also partner with educational and cultural organizations to elevate storytelling and community involvement.

Travel through time, play with your food, and share the adventure at DineVenture!
